UPSC IAS Prelims Syllabus 2022
In IAS Prelims, UPSC tests the analytical, logical, and reasoning ability of the candidates. The IAS Prelims Exam is divided into two parts:
(i) General Studies Paper-I
(ii) General Studies Paper-II
Both papers have a maximum time limit of two hours and the General Studies Paper-II, which is popularly known as CSAT, is only qualifying in nature. The exam is conducted on a single day with Paper 1 in the morning session and paper 2 in the evening session.

UGC NET 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UG NET 2023 exam city intimation slip and exam date for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The exam date for the UGC NET June cycle is from 13 to 22 June 2023 for phase 1 and phase 2. What is UGC NET?
UG NET Full form is University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. It is administered by the National Testing Agency twice a year. This exam is held to appoint candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities.
UGC NET exam is held for a total of 83 subjects. Candidates who wish to pursue higher education in research i.e. Ph.D/M.Phil go on to appear for this exam. Prior to 2018, UGC NET used to be conducted by the CBSE. However, after 2018, NTA took the sole responsibility of conducting the exam.
UGC NET 2023 Eligibility
Only those candidates can apply for UGC NET 2023 exam who fulfil the UGC NET eligibility criteria. The eligibility for UGC NET consists of age limit, educational qualification, number of attempts and so on. We have specified the UGC NET eligibility below. In addition to this, there is an upper age limit relaxation for those who belong to the reserved categories.

NTA issues UGC NET 2023 Admit Card to the candidates subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions. Candidates must visit the official website of NTA UGC NET, i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in and click on the link ‘Download Admit Card’. NTA has released the UGC NET Phase 1 admit card 2023 on its website on 11 June.
Candidates need to bring the Admit Card along with a passport-size photograph affixed to it and one more passport size photograph to be affixed on the attendance sheet. So candidates are advised to keep the print copy of their admit cards in good condition and follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card before the day of examination. How to Fill UGC NET Application Form 2023?
The candidates who fulfill the UGC NET eligibility criteria must fill out the UGC NET application form through the NTA website. The application form last date was 6 June 023. Given below are the steps to fill UGC NET Application Form June 2023:

Click on ‘New Registration’ to apply for UGC NET for the first time.
Enter the required details and complete the registration
Fill out the complete application form by entering other necessary details.
Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (4-30 kb) in JPEG format
Pay the UGC NET application fee as per your category.
Save and submit the form and do not forget to download the confirmation page.

All the candidates who apply for UGC NET 2023 exam must pay the application fee as per their categories. The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid through either online or offline mode. The category-wise fee for the UGC NET exam is as follows:

SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: Rs. 325/-

UGC NET exam pattern 2023 consists of two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. Both papers have multiple choice questions.
